Tekirova is a quiet seaside village in Antalya Province’s Kemer district, ideal for beach‑club weekends, island boat trips, and day visits to the ancient city of Phaselis. A stay of two to three nights lets you enjoy a morning at Phaselis, a boat day, and evenings on the local hotel strip; a week is worthwhile if you want to add the Çıralı‑Olympos walk or the Tahtalı cable‑car from Kemer.

Tekirova sits on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, in the Kemer district of Antalya Province. Its coordinates are roughly 36.50 N, 30.53 E, placing it between the town of Kemer and the Çıralı–Olympos road. The village is framed by pine‑backed bays and hosts a range of package hotels that cater to families and couples alike.

The main draw for visitors is the beach‑club scene that runs along the shoreline during the summer months. Guests can spend a full day on the water, then return to the hotel strip for dinner or a relaxed evening. For those who prefer a more active itinerary, a boat tour to the three nearby islands and Kleopatra Bay is popular; many operators offer round‑trip transfers from Antalya or Kemer.

A highlight of the area is the ancient city of Phaselis, located just a few kilometres north of Tekirova. A morning spent exploring the well‑preserved theatre and harbour ruins is a must for history enthusiasts. From there, visitors can walk into the surrounding pine forest toward Göynük Canyon or continue west along the coast to Çıralı, where the legendary Chimaera flames burn at night.

Kemer town lies about fifteen kilometres east on the D400 road; it offers a marina, Moonlight Beach, and a range of restaurants. Antalya city and its international airport are roughly sixty kilometres further east, making Tekirova an easy day trip from the capital. The coastal drive west leads to Çıralı and Olympos, where the Lycian Way and Yanartaş (the “Fire Mountains”) attract hikers and adventure seekers.

Two to three nights are sufficient for a relaxed visit that includes a Phaselis morning, a boat day, and evenings on the hotel strip. If you wish to combine Tekirova with longer excursions—such as a week‑long trek along the Lycian Way, a cable‑car ride up Tahtalı Mountain from Kemer, or extended beach days—plan for at least seven nights.

The best season is late spring through early autumn (May to September), when temperatures are warm and the sea is inviting. Peak summer months (July–August) bring larger crowds and higher prices, but the beach‑club atmosphere is at its fullest.

From Antalya, take the D400 east to Kemer, then follow local roads to Tekirova. A rental car is recommended for exploring nearby attractions such as Phaselis, Göynük Canyon, and Çıralı. Buses run from Antalya to Kemer; from there, a short taxi or local minibus can take you to Tekirova. The Antalya Airport is about 60 km east of Tekirova. A private transfer or a combination of bus and taxi will get you to the village in roughly an hour.

Tekirova offers a tranquil Mediterranean escape that balances beach relaxation with cultural exploration, making it an excellent base for both short stays and longer regional adventures.
